To dream that you are good friends with a celebrity, represents your idealized version of someone you know in your life. Perhaps you hope that a real-life friend can act more like a particular celebrity. Consider the qualities that you see in this celebrity and how you want your friends to have those qualities. Alternatively, the dream may be trying to compensate for your own lack of self-confidence. You want to escape from your own reality and live the high life. You want to fit in.
Me and a friend (although I don't know who the girl in the dream was) were randomly having a drink with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (2 British Actors). We were not friends with them, but had met them, by chance, in a bar. We were getting along very well with them, especially me and Nick Frost. We were making each other laugh loads and having a really good time. As the night went on we all had to leave and promised that we would keep in touch and remain friends. As we were leaving, Simon Pegg suddenly thought to invite us to his birthday party on Thursday. Him and his friends were going to meet in his local pub at 3:30pm, that Thursday. I really wanted to go and was wondering if and how I was going to be able to get out of work that afternoon.
The girl I was with and I travelled home together and we were queuing outside the Royal Courts of Justice for a bus. The Courts had been turned into a disco and there were people outside queuing for entry, dressed up in short dresses and eating kebabs from a near-by kebab van.
It was then Thursday and I was at Simon Pegg's birthday party which was now being held at his house. I walked through the front door feeling extremely self conscious as I didn't know anyone there besides Nick Frost and obviously Simon Pegg. I was offered a saucepan full of hard boiled eggs as that was the finger food for the party, so I took an egg to eat. To my right were Simon's parents who were frightfully posh and in front of me across the room was Nick Frost. Simon was speaking with his parents and I called a joke across to Nick. All of a sudden, his dad turned on me, telling me how rude I was for talking over the top of him and then he started to shout and belittle me in front of the whole party. I was so embarrassed and mortified and rendered speechless. I went over to Nick and could feel the tears of embarrassment filling up in my eyes and Simon turned to have a go at his dad for what he did to me.
