08th October 2012 - Slices of Ham
James and I were out in a bar having some drinks. The bar was extremely busy and popular as Paddy Mcguinness (comedian) was Djing there. Whilst we were there, we were all asked to write messages to be read aloud by Paddy on slices of ham (like the cheap nasty ham which comes out of packets for sandwiches). I took mine and James' ham messages up to the DJ stand and Paddy took them and put them with all the others. In a bid to try and get ours somewhere near the top, I offered him to help sort them into a neater order. The slices of ham were wet and sloppy and felt horrible to touch.
While I was sorting through the slices of ham, I came across a slice which had been written on by one of my work colleagues, Ian. I read his message and was disappointed it didn't make sense or mention me in it. He also was not at the bar, which meant he had left his message on another occasion and I was hurt he hadn't told me to come for a drink. Suddenly, I was aware of the buffet cart behind me and that it was surrounded by people and now empty. James had been the last person there and had picked up 3 of the Cinnamon donuts left. I asked him for one as I hadn't been able to get one for myself and he said no. A lady carrying a tray with 3 more donuts on (not whole donuts - the scraps from others left overs) on and I grabbed 2 of them, much to the disgust of everyone around me who were also trying to get some.
I was then sat in a beer garden outside, full of people who I know but not very well. Amongst them was my old drama teacher and his new fiance (who I have never seen or met, but have seen photos on Facebook). She was in a terrible mood and was not enjoying the party and I saw them about to leave. I ran after them and he confessed he didn't want to go, but she was forcing him too. I apologised for not being a better hostess and looking after them better.
There were a few different things that happened in the dream which I cant quite remember in enough detail to write down. The next thing I remember is purchasing a bag and a magazine for my mum's birthday present. i had booked to take her to Harrods for Afternoon Tea for her present (which is true in real life), but wanted to give her clues as to what we were doing. We were walking through London and I had to collect tickets for the tea and I whispered to the helper not to say what it was in front of my mum. I paid and he gave me the tickets and then said to my mum "Enjoy Afternoon Tea at Harrods". I was so angry that he had ruined the surprise!
And then I woke up.

To wear a wedding dress in your dream indicates that you are evaluating and assessing your personal relationship.
To see a wedding in your dream symbolises a new beginning or transition in your current life. A wedding reflects your issues about commitment and independence. Alternatively, your wedding dream refers to feelings of bitterness, sorrow, or death
Thurs 9th Feb 2012 - Wedding mayhem
To dream that you are a bridesmaid signifies a looming romance. Also consider the old adage "always a bridesmaid, never a bride". You could be expressing your desire to be in a committed relationship.

Nipping to Australia
To dream that you are worried about something, is a reflection of waking worry that has carried over to your dream state. You may be harbouring some repressed thoughts, some unexpressed emotions, resentments or hostilities which are triggering your dream worry.
I needed to run some errands and dad offered to take me. The first one was in Australia and he drove me there in his taxi. I needed to go to my friend Will's house, but he had moved since I had last been in the country, so we needed to find the new house. As we were driving through the Melbourne countryside I was saying to dad "see, I told you Melbourne was beautiful!". I called Will to get directions to his new address and was growing increasingly frustrated at him because he wouldn't answer my question. All I required was the postcode of the new address to put it into the Sat-Nav but he kept talking about something entirely different each time and eventually my phone credit ran out. Me and dad had to park the cab and walk the streets, door knocking until we found the correct house.
We approached a property which had a tea set where the porch should have been. The idea was that guests could make themselves a cup of tea while they waited for the door to be answered. Knowing that Will's mum Liz liked her cups of tea, I knew it must be the right property. I made myself a cup but dad was too shy to accept one and Liz answered the door. She gave me a huge hug as she was really happy to see me and she invited the pair of us inside.
The interior of the house was awful, very retro and 80's. We walked into the living room and was introduced to their new dog called Wispa (after chocolate bar). In one corner of the living room was a huge hot tub and it looked really tacky. Then Will came into the room and grabbed me in a huge bear hug.
We were all sitting round drinking tea and catching up, when my dad reminded me we had to fly back to England. It suddenly dawned on me that I was not supposed to be in Australia, after receiving a 3 year ban and I was getting more and more worried about going to the airport in case they arrested me. Dad was trying to rationalise that it was their fault for allowing me entry into the country so they would let me back out again. But I was getting extremely emotional and the worry was making me sick.

24/01/2011 (no. 2) - Group holiday
To see a shark in your dream, indicates feeling of anger, hostility and fierceness. You are undergoing a long and difficult emotional period and may be an emotional threat to yourself or others. Perhaps you are struggling with your individuality and independence, especially in some aspect of your relationship. Alternatively, a shark represents a person in your life who is greedy and unscrupulous. This person goes after what he or she wants with no regards to the well-being and sensitivity of others.
A big group of us were in LA on a holiday. I was walking along the beach alone when I saw Bocky (my tour leader from the Eastern Dreams trip I went on in Australia). Bocky, was in LA working as a lifeguard. He told me about a submarine which he was operating where people paid $60 and could view sharks. Ben didn't want to come with me so went off with Tom and his friends. I walked up to the harbour where the submarine left from and saw Carly Warner (a girl I was friends with in school). She was due to be coming on the sub with me but didn't want to pay the $60 so left me on my own. I saw Toni with Emma and Tracy and tried convincing them to come with me. We had just missed the ride, so had to wait for the next one. I went with Bocky to the beach to help him drag the submarine (by rope) up to the harbour for the next trip. He let me ride in the sub back up to the harbour and I had to wear a big helmet so I could breathe in the water. As I was floating upwards I saw huge sharks swimming all around, really close to the shore.
Me and Bocky then went for a walk around the island and I saw Ben with Tom and his friends sunbathing. I warned them all about not swimming in the sea as there were sharks close to the shore. I introduced Bocky to Ben and they shook hands and I remember feeling anxious of the 2 of them meeting.

Dinner with the boss.... and my dad

The dream indicates to me that you think you have a particular situation in control, but something will happen that will let you know otherwise, this could range from a person you have unfortunately placed too much trust in, someone that you could have taken for granted that they would just be there or do something. Whatever it may be, make sure you tend to the details yourself, or if you have someone else do something, go back over their work to insure accuracy or completeness. Go with God.

The car is your body; inside your body is the real you, your soul, your sense of being 'me'. When in a dream you drive a car it means that you are in control; you know where in life and work you are going. If you are unable to break, it means that you are about to lose control, that you are unable to control the speed of your life, that something is taking over your means of holding back when it is required. No brakes on a car is serious for you are liable to head for a smash or accident.
*I was expected to go into work for 2 days over Christmas and it was my first day over the break I was expected in. I walked to the station, which was over-crowded with Japanese tourists. I saw my train leaving just as I arrived and it was the most crowded I have ever seen a train. People's face were squashed up against the glass of the doors. My car was parked at the station so I decided to drive into work. My car was parked in the middle of 3 cars and when I went to get in, I realised either side were 2 of my old school friends, who I do not speak to/with anymore. We exchanged pleasantries and I set off on my journey. I got round the corner of the station when all of a sudden, as I pressed down on the accelerator the engine roared loudly and the breaks wouldn't work. Panicking, I had to get the car back home without using breaks and waiting for the car to slow to a stop. Luckily enough I made it back to my house in one piece.
My brother Tom, who used to be a mechanic, looked over my car and was trying to convince me that it was still fine to drive. Knowing better I thought I should get a 2nd opinion and asked my dad who said the nearest mechanic is based in Chancery Lane (right next to where I work) and we would have to call him out. From my mobile I kept trying to call the mechanic but his phone was switched off as he was away for the holidays.
Realising that I wouldn't be able to make it into work after all (especially as when I looked at the time it was almost 4pm!), I knew I had to call my MD (Jonathan). I walked into the Kitchen to tell my dad what I was doing and I walked up a spiral staircase to get to my room. My room in the dream was nothing like my actual bedroom, it was at the top of a tower and all the walls were made of glass. I Skyped Jonathan and we were talking to each other over our laptops using headsets. I explained my predicament and hammed it up a bit with a few tears etc. He was pretty short with me on the call and I ended up begging him not to be mad with me.
All of a sudden me and dad were having dinner and Jonathan is there as well, although in my dream he was a big, fat, loud man who used the phrase 'babes' and 'love' a lot. He was sitting there talking about how much the Company expected from me and how amazingly I came across in the interview and they're disappointed that I haven't performed as well as they had anticipated. I did not say a word throughout his whole big speech on what a failure I am. Meanwhile dad felt the need to 'promote' me and my talents and was telling Jonathan how hard working I am, how dedicated and so on.
I can definitely see how this dream came about. My MD- Jonathan, is spending the day in the office with me today and I was nervous about it all night because I was scared he is going to be on my case!

A whloe lot of nonsense

To dream that you are buying earrings, represents your desire for acceptance and affection.
To see an old man in your dream represents wisdom or forgiveness.
*I was sitting at home watching an episode of Rugrats (the children's cartoon), which I have seen many times before. The doorbell rang and I decided to ignore it. After continuous knocking on the door, I decided to answer it after all. As I approached, Jasper (my dog) ran towards the door along with 2 other puppies who looked identical to my previous dog Smudge (who sadly passed away in 2010). I scooped up Jasper into my arms and answered the door, but only opening it an inch as the dog was struggling. There was an old man who I didn't know there and I assumed he was from a charity or something, but he opened the door and walked straight through into our living room. I followed him through and felt very awkward/uncomfortable as I wasn't sure who he was or why he felt so at home. All of a sudden the old man was my Grandad and I was talking to him about how he had got to our house, to which he informed me he had walked (from Broadstairs!).
Next thing I knew, I was in Upminster highstreet shopping, alone. I was looking in an old horrid looking jewellery shop for an earring for my Tragus piercing (section of the ear). Most of the items they had were extremely dirty, rusty and old. I finally found what I was looking for but the boy who worked in the shop informed me they were unable to put it in for me, so I had to leave it in the end anyway. As I was leaving the shop, I noticed there were lots of pictures from Amy from a TV show I watch called 'The Only Way is Essex' hanging round the walls. I was informed this was her parent's shop. I then started to walk home when I received a text message from Ben saying "I don't think this is working anymore. It might be time to call it an end". Feeling wretched upon receiving the bad news I needed to sit down, so pulled out a camping chair and sat on the pavement, whilst drinking a can of Coke Zero. Some guy who I recognised from my Junior School approached me. He was wearing a binman's uniform, as that was his full time job now. We got talking and it became apparent he did not remember me and when I asked him his name it turned out he was not the person I thought and his name was Ethan. We chatted for a bit and he kept asking me to go to the pub with him for a drink. I told him I couldn't as I had a boyfriend and he said "Yes, but he wants to break up with you". When I asked him how he knew this information, he showed me a t-shirt he had bought with the text Ben had sent me across it. I was very upset and then I started to smoke (despite having given up months ago). Ethan kept following me down the road and I tried to get rid of him. When I turned to look at him he had my nasal spray I use everyday in his hand and when I took it back he had used it all.
Then, I was in my grandad's bungalow in Broadstairs and I was on the phone to Ben to talk to him about the text message he had sent me. I walked to the back of the bungalow, facing the garden. He was very drunk on the other end of the phone and I was getting very upset and angry by it. He told me that he had just been made permanent in his position at work and was drinking to celebrate. Whilst we were chatting on the phone the trees at the end of my grandad's garden were all dead and sinister looking and started coming to life and moving towards me menacingly.

School Trip
To see a killer whale in your dream, indicates that you need to be more sociable or more vocal about something. Alternatively, the dream symbolises spiritual guidance. You are ready to explore your emotions, but you need to make the connection between the conscious and unconscious aspects of yourself.
*I was on some sort of holiday/trip and one of the people I was with was the Indian Actor from East is East (although in the dream he was not famous). We were getting on really well and were very flirty with each other. We went to his bedroom (which was actually my actual bedroom) where we were staying and started getting hot and steamy. After the act itself we cuddled in his bed- him topless and with the most amazing body I had ever seen. A while later and he wanted to show me a 'surprise'. He took me down a corridor and showed me his pet rat. I ran away screaming as I am scared of them. Once I had calmed down a bit I ventured back over to them and he showed me that the rat did all sorts of tricks. I then left because I was booked to go on a banana boat ride. The boat took us far out into the sea and as it went over a bump, I fell into the water. They wouldn't let me climb back onto the banana and said I had to swim back to shore- even though we were miles out. I started the long swim back and noticed several black lumps in the water. There were lots of killer whales in the sea and they were trying to eat me. The boat instructor told me that the whales were attracted to my white legs as they thought they were baby seals and all I had to do was lift my legs out of the water as one of the whales came towards me and slide over the top of them on my bottom. So I had to do this all the way back to shore.
Still in the dream, I wake up the following morning and have no recollection of where I am and what I am doing. I am in my PJ's and everyone else is dressed and ready to go. I have to quickly run along to find my room as I hadn't stayed there or even seen it and grab my case to leave. I didn't have time for a shower or anything and felt really disgusting. The guy who I was sharing a room with wasn't there but he had left lots of chocolate wrappers all over the room, which angered me.
We got onto the bus home- me still in my pj's and I became increasingly aware of the fact that I was the only person to be in my pj's. We pulled over for a rest stop and we were all given guns. Next thing I know we are all running around playing Goldeneye but with paintball guns instead of the real thing. At one point it started to snow heavily and we realised we were trapped in the building so I started building a snowman on the floor- much to the amusement of everyone else.
