Wedding Dress
To wear a wedding dress in your dream indicates that you are evaluating and assessing your personal relationship.

If you or someone is wearing a wedding dress in an inappropriate situation, then it suggests that you are feeling inferior or unworthy.

Wedding
To see a wedding in your dream symbolises a new beginning or transition in your current life.  A wedding reflects your issues about commitment and independence.  Alternatively, your wedding dream refers to feelings of bitterness, sorrow, or death

To dream that you are attending a wedding, consider how you feel at the wedding. If you are upset or sad, then it means that you are unhappy about the current status of your life. If you are happy, then you are embracing a new change in your life.

It was Emily and Dan's wedding and I was sitting upstairs with Emily.  She thought it would be hilarious to go back downstairs wearing each others dresses.  So, after much persuasion, she convinced me to put on her wedding dress and she, in turn, put on my dress.  It was then time to through the bouquet, so we went down the grand stairs in the venue for Emily to throw the bouquet.  As we approached the bottom of the stairs, her family gasped and were really upset/angry to see me wearing her posh wedding dress.  All of our mutual friends looked at me with absolute disgust.

I then joined the other girls while Emily threw the bouquet.  I ended up catching it, but then dropping it and Charlie lunged forward for it.  When I pointed out to her that I had actually caught it she refused to give it back to me and then everyone said she had won it fair and square.

Thurs 9th Feb 2012 - Wedding mayhem

Bridesmaid
To dream that you are a bridesmaid signifies a looming romance. Also consider the old adage "always a bridesmaid, never a bride". You could be expressing your desire to be in a committed relationship.

It was Vicky's wedding day and I was her Bridesmaid.  A coach had been organised to take everyone to the venue.  Whilst she was finishing getting ready, she confessed to me that she was no longer in love with her Husband to be, Alex, but instead was going to run away with Mike instead.  The plan was to wait until everyone was ready on the coach and Mike would sneak round the back in a bus and take her away.  I asked her what she would do if Mike didn't show and she told me there was a plan in place for that situation.

The time came and everyone was on the coach waiting for me and Vicky to arrive, but Mike didn't show.  Vicky was informed that Mike had changed his mind and was escaping on a speed boat, so Vicky had the boat blown up.

As she didn't want to marry Alex, we decided to hide in an old man pub.  We were crouching down under the tables and trying to stop the old men who frequented the bar from talking to us.  Later in the day we were hungry and so we crawled round to the back of the pub and ordered 2 roast dinners from an ice cream van.

All of a sudden it was that evening and we were at the venue where the wedding should have taken place.  Vicky and I, still in our dresses, sat and started taking down the decorations.  Vicky commented on what a beautiful wedding it would have been and when I looked round, all of the decorations were pig related.  There were pig banners, napkins plates etc.

*Funnily enough Vicky did in fact marry a guy called Alex, who she later went on to divorce.  Mike is the current guy she is dating*
