22nd November

If someone else is driving a car in your dream you will find yourself in luck, money wise

*Louise, Lea, Amy and I were going on holiday and Amy was driving us there. None of us knew the correct way so Lea's dad came with us in the car to give us directions. It was very dark out as it was early morning and we were all very tired. Amy was driving really slowly and i could see Lea's dad getting frustrated with her; every time she turned a corner she would scream. Phil offered to drive for Amy 3 times and she refused, adamant she wanted to do it. Louise was sitting in the front seat next to Amy and directed her to turn right, but Amy missed the turning and ended up bringing us back to where we had started. We were all getting extremely frustrated with Amy, and at this point Phil asked Amy if she wanted him to drive once again, and this time she allowed it.

For a person to dream of being wedded, is a sad augury, as death will only be eluded by a miracle. If the wedding is a gay one and there are no ashen, pale-faced or black-robed ministers enjoining solemn vows, the reverses may be expected.

*I was on a reality TV show where the audience called and voted in a person for me to marry. It was the day of the wedding and the person I was going to marry was RedRum (nickname for a girl from my drama group, who really annoys me). She was really excited about the wedding and was dragging me around to have pictures taken with her and get ready for the evening. I was at home getting ready and I asked my parents "this isn't really happening is it? I'm not really expected to Marry Redrum?", hoping they would put my mind at rest, but they ensured me they had already paid for the wedding and my mum had bought me a dress especially. I reluctantly went into my room to get ready and put my dress on; it was very short and unflattering and I was really shocked my mum had chosen it for me. Next thing I knew I was at the aisle with my bride to be and all of my friends/family were watching. As the Vicar said "If anyone knows of any reason why these 2 should not be joined together in Holy Matrimony..." I waited for someone to point out Redrum was already married and therefore could not marry me. All of a sudden a small producer of the show appeared out of no where for us to stop because Redrum was no longer the viewer's favourite and someone else had been voted in. Redrum disappeared and this awful fat woman took her place. I looked round desperately seeking someone to rescue me, I pleaded with a friend to help but she just sat there telling me I had got into this mess by myself. I had to marry the woman in the end and the next stage of the show was for us to move in together along with one of the other contestants. Next thing I know, I am sitting at a random kitchen table holding my head in my hands as the 2 women bitch and argue with each other all day long.

17th November

If you think yourself an actor/actress, you will have to work for subsistence, but your labors will be pleasantly attended.

To dream of failure is a dream associated with fear of being inadequate and a fear of not having a winning personality.

For a bit of background behind this dream, I should explain I am part of an amateur dramatics society and we are currently rehearsing for our next play which is Alice in Wonderland. I have got the part of the Gryphon, which although is an unknown part, is reasonably big.

*It was the night of our first performance and we were performing down Middle Temple lane, in the cobbled street with the audience standing round us in a circle. I was late for the performance and when I arrived, realised they were already mid-flow. I waited for my prompt to enter, when I realised they were already half way through my scene, so I rushed onto the stage to join the other actors. They were carrying on as if nothing had happened and waiting for me to jump in with my lines but I couldn't figure out where in the script they were so started to improvise. I completely ruined the scene and looked unprofessional and not only was it the opening night, but also the night all my friends and family had come to watch. Once it was over I could hear them walking away making comments such as "she was hopeless" and "I don't know why she bothers going, she just ruined it". I was of course very upset and the Director of the play was shouting at me in front of the rest of the cast.

To dream that someone is giving you a haircut, suggests that you are experiencing a decreased sense of power. You may feel that you were criticized unfairly.

*I went on holiday with my mum and dad to the Bahamas and we were staying in the Dolphin Hotel, which was a boat in the shape of a Dolphin. We went to the local town, which was just on the shore to wander around and explore a bit. I decided I needed to get my haircut, so stopped at a stall on the middle of the beach to let them cut my hair. The hairdresser told me my hair was in terrible condition and so he had to cut quite a bit off, leaving me with a short bob which I hated. After getting my hair cut we continued along the beach when we saw Andy, Jo and Macaulay walking in the opposite direction. We stopped and spoke to them for a bit and couldn't believe they were on holiday at the same location/same time as us.

The meaning of this dream (the haircut part) really interested me as recently at work I have had a hard time from one of my Barristers in relation to booking flights to the Bahamas. I was criticised unfairly and it did effect me a lot more than it normally would have done.

*It was the MTV music awards and they were being held in London, so I decided to go and see them. The Awards were being hosted by Mickey Mouse, and in the dream it was as if he was a real person. He was walking up and down the streets of London like anyone else would but still looked like a 2D cartoon character. All of a sudden I was down Fleet Street with my family and Chloe and I was about 10 years old; we were waiting along the road to watch the parade for the Awards. I was playing with my talkboy which is an old toy I used to have where you would put in a cassette then record yourself talking/singing and it could play it back in either slow motion or really fast.

The Apprentice

To see or dream that you are a businessperson, represents the rational and organised aspect of yourself.

To dream that you are in a competition, represents your need to grow and expand. Learn the value of endurance and perseverance. You may also need to be more assertive. Alternatively, the dream mat reflect your anxiety about some real life competition that you are involved in.

*I was on an episode of The Apprentice and the team I was on was competing with the other team in order to encourage Books Etc to let us host a party at their store. To try and give my team the advantage I got a job working there. My job was to organise tiny cards which looked a bit like business cards, which held details of all the books we kept in the store. I was really enjoying my job so much so in fact I decided to take my work home with me to finish on the train. When I got to Upminster station Eshaan was waiting to pick me up and take me home. We were sitting outside my house talking and 2 Asian builders who were working on my house started listening in on our conversation so we had to do the windows up. Eshaan started flicking through the various cards from Books Etc and was planning what to buy everyone for Christmas.

Insects in a dream always represent obstacles that you must overcome to reach your goals, if you manage to exterminate them or they are not bothersome to you then you will meet your obstacles with strength, and be able to overcome them. Insects also represent excessive worry over certain things, meditate to find out what they might mean to you by using all the symbols in your dream for reference.

*I got home and the hall way had lots of daddy long legs flying around and they were going in and out of my bedroom. I am terrified of them, and was screaming trying to run away from them whilst my dad tried to kill them. In the end he was unable to get rid of them all, so I had to wait by my bedroom door for them all to leave my room and quickly dart in and shut the door behind me. Once I was satisfied my room was daddy long leg free, I climbed into bed and sat up with the light on waiting for my parents to say good night. Eventually they came in and made sure I was ok, turned off the light and left. When they left, I noticed a tiny black dot on the ceiling which started to grow at a rapid pace. Once it was a couple of inches big it stopped growing but 8 long thin legs popped out and I realised it was a spider. The spider was really fast and ran across the ceiling which made me scream. My brother Tom came in to try and catch it, but it ran underneath my bed. He pulled my bed away from the wall to find where the spider was hiding and when he did there was loads of sand and dirt under there. He started shouting at me because he couldn't belive how revolting it was under my bed, then he stromed off. I decided to try and clean the room, but the more I tried to clean, the more mess I seemed to create.

I do have a fear of spiders and daddy long legs and most insects in general!

1st November

If you dream of being late, it's your conscience telling you to refrain from making promises you can't keep.

*I was on the tube on my way into work, and it was really empty. As I pushed my way on I noticed there was a seat with a bag on so I moved the bag and sat on the seat. After a while it occurred to me to ask who the bag belonged to, but it turned out that it wasn't anyones. Me and another lady were trying to decide what to do with it as it could be a bomb. She was getting off at the next station and offered to take it with her and dispose of it in the nearest bin; we both decided this was the safest option. As I continued the journey, every time we stopped at a station, I would get off the tube, then wait for the next one to arrive, ride that for one stop and so on... Obviously it was taking me forever to get into work and I was suddenly very aware of how late it was. I decided to get off at Bank station and walk into work from there. As I set off, I noticed the streets of London were very quiet, and I had an awful feeling that it was still the weekend. I stopped and sat on a wall whilst I tried to figure out exactly what I had done at the weekend and what day of the week it must be but the more I thought about it, the more confused I became. I called my mum to ask her what day of the week it was but she said she wasn't sure because of the clocks going forward 2 weeks ago, she is all out of sync. Frustrated and confused I decide to continue my journey to work, when I run into Andy, Nick and Bob from my previous job. I approached them to see if they could clear up my confusion but I was invisible to them. Screaming I ran after them, but it was no use, so I persevered onwards. I reached an outside bar where there various people sitting outside drinking under a huge canopy. I decided to go in and rest for a moment as I was carrying a huge bag full with various suits. As I sat down, I looked at my watch and it was 11:30am, and then out of no where I finally figured out that yes it was Monday and I was meant to be in work. Panicking because I was 2 hours late, I called my boss who was quite understandably furious I was late and hadn't called in before now. Whilst trying to apologise to him on the phone 2 men were having a water fight right next to me with cartons of orange juice, they were extremely loud and so I sad very rudely to my boss "Please excuse the noise, there are 2 twats having a water fight right next to me", then hung up the phone. Upon hearing my remark the 2 guys threw a bottle of orange juice each over me so I was soaked and my suit was ruined. I got into a huge argument with them, and warned them if my brother knew what had happened, they'd be in for it. At that exact moment my brother Tom ran past where we were, so I called him in to help me. I explained what had happened, but all he did was laugh, and suggest I threw water over the pair of them and we'd be even. I took his advice, and set off back for work. On my way I ran into Louise who was out for lunch and wanted to deliver something to me in the office, so I suggested she walked alongside me. As we go closer to my work, I grew more and more aware of how late I was and how much trouble I was going to be in when I did get home, so I tried to speed up. The faster I tried to walk, the more obstacles were put in my way, and my legs just wouldn't cooperate with the rest of my body.
